Steven Cirona’s Career & Professional Background
As the founder and managing director of Integrate Safety, Steven’s professional experience has played an important role in the development of the business today.

Steven has worked within the construction industry for 18 years in which the past 13 years working in the field of health, safety, environmental and quality management. He started on the tools back in 2004 when he began his carpentry apprenticeship working across new home builds and renovation projects. After discovering he had a passion for safety, in 2010 his journey began with his first safety role with a reputable Victorian home volume builder.
Since then, Steven has held safety roles across some of Australia’s largest construction companies including Boutique Homes, BMD Constructions, Mirvac and Probuild. His previous employment saw him working as a Senior Safety Consultant managing a portfolio of clients within the construction sector. His attention to detail, leadership, commitment, and ability to engage stakeholders at both an organisational and project level affirms that he was a key player in achieving HSEQ outcomes.
In 2021, Steven’s ambition to influence change and make a difference within the industry empowered him to launch Integrate Safety, a consulting and compliance-based organisation which strives to provide its clients with risk-based approach HSEQ solutions which are practical, achievable, and most importantly conforming to legislative requirements including industry best practices.
Steven currently holds ISO Lead Auditor and has been certified through Exemplar Global, Diploma and Certificate IV in OHS along with many other practical awareness modules including Asbestos, Silica Awareness, Working at Heights, Precast Awareness, Earthmoving Equipment and Crane Safety Awareness.
Having worked on the tools in a past life has given Steven an appreciation for what it is like “on the other side”. This gives him the edge to find the balance between being an everyday worker and working in a leadership role at an organisational level therefore this is where Integrate Safety can collaborate with its clients and implement practical solutions to achieve the right outcomes and ensure that everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.
Steven is proficient in many digital safety, environment and quality platforms including but not limited to Procore and Hammertech. He can train your organisation or team to ensure that they get the best out of either system.
